The new gold standard for Wilmington garages
Ducharme & Sons contracted and built a custom single-car garage in Midtown Wilmington. Special care was taken, in conjunction with the clients and Dogwood Architecture, to design and build the garage as the “little brother” to the house. We affectionately call this garage “the new gold standard.”
The garage has custom lighting, with exterior lights that can be operating from the house as well as the garage. Special call out to PJ’s Electric for their fine work in making that happen. They were very easy to work with.
Likewise thanks to Crawford Door Systems. They were very helpful in choosing and installing the correct door, and a pleasure to work with.
The garage has fiber cement Hardie siding and trim, attic storage, all treated exterior lumber and trim, and copper flashing.
Mini-me
A year later, I built a companion shed on another property for same homeowner. We called it Mini-me.
